La Joy

In an international neighbourhood as the Statenkwartier, there will be international businesses. La Joy is one of them, a hair dressing salon with branches in Paris, Tokyo, London, Rome, new York, Berlin and also in the Hague. In 202 owner Wilger van der Laan opened this top-salon on the Aert van der Goesstyraat, It recently became a branche of the exclusive international hairdressers organisation Intercoiffure. The salons connected to this organisation are known for their professional skill, quality, service and of course their artistic standard. Knowledge of the latest fashions and trends are shared.

At La Joy it is not just about having your hair perfectly styled. A customer can relax and enjoy one-self in the lounge like atmosphere with the personal attention. A massage is part of each hair treatment. So is individual advice about model, colour and hair care. The cutting and styling is being done separately from colouring and perming. A colour machine which customizes the hair colour is used for hair colouring. Products of the Spanish firm Fuente are being used. These products are plant based and not tested on animals.
